  Hear from experienced industrial relations practitioners, including representatives from AirServices Australia, Deloitte, the NSW Premier's Department, and the Electrical Trades Union. Panellists will reflect on their careers and share tips on building the skills needed to succeed in industrial relations. Audience members will have the chance to ask questions and meet the panellists. Light refreshments will be provided.

With extensive national management experience and a strong background in human resources education and training, Sue is recognised for executive leadership, integrity, and collaboration. Sue has successfully influenced leaders to strengthen organisational capability and drive positive behavioural change.

  Rebecca Jaensch
  Rebecca is a Director of The Woohoo Co and an ALERA SA Committee Member. With broad experience in Human Resources Generalist roles across national organisations in Australia and the United Kingdom, Rebecca has worked in both operational and leadership positions. This diverse background has given Rebecca a well-rounded understanding of business operations and organisational effectiveness.

  After a long hiatus and due to popular demand and member requests, we’re bringing the IRSWA Advocacy Course back in 2026!

  The course is designed for human resources, industrial relations practitioners and lawyers to develop and enhance their skills in the art of advocacy. 

  With WA Commission members adjudicating and supported by interstate facilitators (Chris O’Grady KC and Leigh Howard, Vic Bar) who run this course for other IR societies, the return of this course to WA is not to be missed
