ALERA ACT - 2024 Moot

You are warmly invited to attend the ALERA ACT 2025 Moot Case, supported by the Fair Work Commission and Deputy President Easton.

This year, the case will focus on an application to deal with general protections contraventions involving dismissal —consent arbitration. The case (Gates v Jöbs Software Australien) deals with the dismissal of a worker who alleges adverse action, based on gender transition.

There will be time for questions and answers with Deputy President Easton post the presentation of the case.

Light refreshments and drinks will also be served.
